Sanitation is recognized as a fundamental human right. However, Kenya’s national coverage on safely managed sanitation stands at an extreme low of 33% due to a number of challenges. The #kenyasan2024 was a timely conference that sought to address these challenges, created a platform for sharing experiences, provided networking opportunities for innovative investments, explored technologies and fostered partnerships to entrench capacity building and research in the sanitation sector.
