Did you know that 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water, but only 2.5% of it is freshwater? Out of this, less than 1% is accessible for human use, as the rest is trapped in glaciers, ice caps, or deep underground. This makes efficient water management and conservation critical for sustaining life.

At WASPA, our mission is to facilitate an enabling environment for Water Service Providers (WSPs) by equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to manage this precious resource effectively. Through capacity building, we empower WSPs to adopt best practices in water conservation, such as reducing non-revenue water and improving operational efficiency.

By promoting these best practices, WASPA is working to ensure the provision of efficient and sustainable water and sanitation services for all in alignment with Kenya’s Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goal 6. Together with our partners and stakeholders, we’re building a future where every drop counts and every community has access to clean, safe water.
